On Wednesday 19th September, another ear screening was conducted at Chheu Khmao health centre, Koh Thom district, Kendal Province. 69 Ear patients were identified and received treatment for ear diseases, and 5 patients referred for surgery due to severe Chronicle Otitis Media.
The team crossed the Bassac River with a small ferry boat which is not possible for our van. Medical materials were taken to the health centre by bicycle and carried by the team for a distant of 2km. For this health centre, 90% of the patient suffered not only for ENT diseases, but also from goitre.
